Following A Level art status at school, a career took hold of my life and time. It wasn't until I retired and moved up north to the beautiful Highlands, that the tug of sable and crayon got me back on to the canvas. Since then, I have earnestly been trying to become an artist, taking inspiration from the wonderful nature that surrounds us in this stunning part of my beloved Scotland. With a sketchbook and pencils occupying a permanent place in my rucksack, I so much enjoy testing out all the learning of styles and techniques honed at numerous courses and days out throughout the year. Still finding my best medium, but thoroughly enjoying the journey.
