My plans to complete a degree in illustration ended with a move to Inverness but this turned into a new opportunity when I showed up at the door of the Highland Print Studio, was warmly welcomed and have never looked back. In relief printing I find a combination of craft and art that throws up technical as well as visual challenges, appealing to the remaining scientist within me. My subject matter is generally drawn from images I enjoy from the world around me and my aim is to share this pleasure with others.
